In 1960, after residents petitioned for a permanent library, a storefront branch opened at 30th Street and Lafayette Road, the first branch in the system to be located in a shopping center. A stand-alone facility at 3325 Lowry Road opened in 1970 with 12,000 square feet. On June 1, 2019 the Lowry Road facility was replaced by a new 20,000-square-foot building at 3905 Moller Road.

Join us to learn about the science behind Winter weather and what our polar animal friends do to keep warm! We will make our own snow storm in a jar and blubber gloves. This program is Super Size!
Join us for an afternoon of goal and intention setting for 2025. We will utilize old magazines and paper scraps to create vision boards.
Children need to discover ways to use their words to make new friends and resolve conflicts. This workshop will support grownups in identifying and cultivating opportunities for practicing social language skills in their child’s life. Dinner will be provided.
