The Indianapolis City-County Council has appointed Hope C. Tribble to The Indianapolis Public Library Board of Trustees.
Tribble lives in the Historic Meridian Park Neighborhood, just north of downtown Indianapolis, and serves as the chief administrative officer at Engaging Solutions, LLC., a management consulting firm that helps companies and organizations oversee finances, community engagement, customer relations, and control systems.
Tribble graduated from Northwest High School in Indianapolis before earning her Bachelors of Science degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C, where she studied business administration and finance. Soon thereafter, she attended the University of Maryland for graduate school and earned her masters in public policy. In her free time she enjoys visiting Indy Parks and can often be found exploring Riverside Regional Park with her puppy.
She will fill the term on the Library Board of Trustees of former Board member Dr. Terri Jett, and is looking forward to this new opportunity to serve the community.
“When I was in high school, I loved to study at Central on the weekends. Now, I love it as a place for community events and sometimes use it as a meeting place for business, community, and social meetings,” said Tribble. “I’m excited to see the evolution of Library services in the digital space, and I'm interested in how it serves as a physical place for people to share information and gather.”
Library Board meetings, which are open to the public, are scheduled on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. For a Library Board meeting schedule and to learn more about Library trustees, click here.
