Pricing includes access to event spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour, and/or reception.
Also included: Security, parking, restroom attendants, pre/post event cleaning, two bridal suites (access at 10am), two vendor rooms, up to 250 ceremony chairs, baby grand piano, and the option for amber uplighting for the Atrium.

The glass-encased Atrium is the hub of the Central Library complex. It has breathtaking views that are perfect for your reception. The Atrium is a private space and can only be rented outside of public hours.
Arguably the city’s most magnificent entrance room, the Simon Reading Room is an ideal wedding space. Flanked by two marble staircases and white oak paneled walls, this space is one of the city’s finest examples of classical architecture. We work with the Ritz Charles as our exclusive caterer. No outside food/beverages are permitted. Please reach out to the Central Library events team for the Ritz Charles contact information.
Because we are open to the public until 5 p.m. on weekends, our earliest start time available is 6 p.m.
Yes, all alcohol must be supplied by our exclusive caterer.
We provide up to 250 ceremony chairs at no cost. The Ritz Charles will provide all tables, chairs, and linens for your cocktail hour and reception
This option is available on Fridays and Sundays only. This option is not available on Saturdays. Please contact us for ceremony only pricing.
We offer complimentary space for your rehearsal during public hours should the space be available. Rehearsals are usually held the day prior to your wedding.
Yes, we only host one wedding here per night which allows the option for use of all of our spaces.
No, the clients are responsible to rent any A/V equipment from an outside vendor.
Yes, it must come from a licensed baker.
Yes, there is a $50/hour fee for a professional photoshoot. To arrange your photo shoot, please contact the Events Department at events@indypl.org or 317-275-4200.
