The Special Collections Room features two separate areas: a sealed, climate-controlled room that preserves our collections and a viewing room where patrons can have a first-hand look at our valuable pieces. This room’s cityscape view makes it ideal for hosting a meeting or small party.

The Center for Black Literature & Culture (CBLC) houses over 20,000 items showcasing Black history and culture throughout the African diaspora. This space is ideal for mid-size group gatherings.
