Grab your friends and grab a book because it's time for Summer Reading at The Indianapolis Public Library! The Library is your ultimate playground for creativity, imagination, and discovery whether you're a beginning reader or a bookworm.
Free and Open to All Ages 0-120
Track the time you spend reading, listening to audiobooks, reading aloud to someone, or having someone read to you. Ask a librarian if you need help finding your next read!
Prizes are earned at 1 hour, 5 hours, 10 hours, 15 hours, and 20 hours of reading. Claim prizes until August 1, 2026.
Sign up starting Friday, May 1, 2026. More details to come!
Group Registration
If you are a local summer camp, daycare, or school that wants to participate in Summer Reading, you can register as a group. Pleae contact Outreach Services at 317-275-4075 for more information.
